When converting files to PDF format, it is important to use the Acrobat tab in Word to ensure ADA compliance formatting is transferred most appropriately. 

Additionally, it is recommended that you first use the Accessibility Checker in Word to identify if you can fix any issues prior to converting, as it will be easier to use the tools in Word rather than the tools in Adobe Acrobat.
