Reduce, Reuse, Upcycle!
Using the phrase, “one’s trash is another one’s treasure” students will use various recycled materials as well as some classic art mediums to create pieces of upcycle art. The class will investigate how different upcycle artists have used recycled materials to create multidimensional pieces of art. Students will be able to create many pieces of their own upcycled masterpieces using recycled materials found at home and provided in class.

Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Christina Malfavon and I love exploring the world we live in through art! During the school year I teach 5th grade and I am passionate about thinking outside the box and using a growth mindset when problem solving. I actively try new art and painting techniques as hobbies and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with my students in the classroom. |
